Palmer Lee Lakes Jr. was born on June 16, 1941 to Palmer Lee Lakes, Sr. and Ester Lena Pryor Lakes. Palmer, Jr was raised in Brookshire, Texas. Palmer, Jr. was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Palmer, Jr. married Dorsey on November 23, 1962 and to this union, three children were born. Linda, Cheryl, and Jacqueline. Palmer Jr. worked at Cameron Iron/ Wyman Gordon for over 30 years. Palmer, Jr. retired from Wyman Gordon. Palmer, Jr. was the life of the party when family visit. Palmer, Jr. would entertain by telling his stories. His 3 favorite saying were “Its Amazing”, “Tighten up my Tea”. “You will live to tell it. Palmer, Jr. look forward to attending Uncle BJ Pryor Family Reunion every other year. Palmer, Jr. is survived by his Daughters, Linda Lakes, Cheryl Lakes Powell (Kevin) and Jacqueline Lockridge (Seth); Grandchildren, Sesilie Lockridge Bell (Dedrick); Brittney Lakes Thomas (Devin); and Brandon Lakes Great Grand Children-Elijah Thomas, Ariel Thomas, and Armon Bell.
