Mrs. Betty Perry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Life Reflections Betty Faye Perry was born on May 8, 1950 in Mansfield La. to the late Sallie Mae Wright. She attended North Desoto High School in Desoto Parish, Louisiana. She was the mother of seven children, Corinthia, Sheliah, Dannetta, Sallie, Reginald, Jermaine and Anita. Betty was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptiste Church in Bellville TX, where she served for many years, she was a choir member, prepared meals, and attended all of the church function, concerts and never missed bible study until her health declined. She would always say, “Sunday is your appetizer and bible study is the full course meal”. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, sister, aunt, mother in law and friend. She loved with passion, not only did she love her own family but, she loved others as her own. She was always prepared to defend situations based on GOD’s word. Betty had an intimate relationship with JESUS and trusted HIM with her life. Her favorite song was “You’ve Changed This Life of Mine” Betty retired from Waller Independent School District. Prior to WISD, she worked at Carter’s Family Nursing Home where she touched the lives of many while working there. After retiring from WISD, she spent quality time helping with raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended all of their school activities, took them to practice and pick them up. She also help the seniors who lived in her community by supporting their needs. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her: seven children; Corinthia (Mark), Sheliah (Matthew), Dannetta, Sallie (Charles), Reginald (Carla), Jermaine (Tarsha) and Anita (Christopher): 26 grandchildren; Carlos, Michael, Zachary (Ivy), LaShavia, Ashley, Jasmine, Germaine, Kalondra, Reginald Jr., Christopher, TaShawna, Kimiko, Denise, Keyanna, Jarvaris, Jalen, Jon’nah, Cameron, Alasha, Caleb, Kayla, Areggia, LaShaundra, Dominque, Mark Jr. (Brittany) and Qyalan: 24 great grandchildren; Eve, Loushiss, Londyn, William, Zachary Jr, Trae, Cayden, Hunter, Jo’ve, Camirya, Anari, Zachary, MaLisha, MaLyshia Jermaine Jr., Zaveion, O’sha, Cameron, Deshaun, Dyllon, Emery, Ron’Tasja and Vin’Traylen: one brother; Robert: three sisters; Olivia, Lillie, Anita and a host of wonderful nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
